How One Decision Can Change Your Life

I have officially launched my Take Inspired Action coaching program! I am so excited to offer this to you, to the world. I want to take this time to talk about a few things within my program. I do believe that making the decision to work with me, within the container we set together, your life will change. I have seen this with many of the clients I have worked with already - it's truly amazing and I'm so grateful you're here.

Within this blog post, I will discuss what I am passionate about within working with my clients; who I love to coach; what I want them (and have seen them) achieve within working with me; and last but not least, my personal strengths as a coach.

I am passionate about...

  • Connecting Mind, Body & Spirit

Mind - I love deconstructing the subconscious mind – habits, thoughts, patterns that have been influenced by childhood memories – what we saw, what we were told, how we were taught to perceive the world around us. Our subconscious holds the key to how we live, how we think, how we behave, how we show up in the world. Breaking down and reconstructing our subconscious mind. I love using CBT – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which helps you to learn how to challenge and change your thoughts that will ultimately change your core beliefs that you have about yourself and the world around you.

Body – I love helping others to become aware of how powerful their body is, to drop in to it, and listen to their body and what it needs. To bring awareness around what you say about your body to yourself, to others; what you put into your body; how your emotions show up in your body; how you talk about other’s bodies. To become comfortable in this one body we have on this earth, today. This also drops us in to self-esteem and self-worth work. Yes! I love this work because I have personally done this work for the past couple years and my life has shifted due to it.

Spirit – I love helping others to connect to the spirit within them, whether that’s connecting to nature and the world around them, or connecting to a God or Higher Power.

When these 3 (mind + body + spirit) are brought together in a harmonious and congruent way, you are unstoppable.

  • Finding your Voice

To learn how to communicate to other’s around you by voicing your needs, wants or concerns in an assertive way. Also learn how to say no. I love to teach my clients and guide them in letting go of ‘people pleasing’ and ‘wanting everyone to like me’ syndrome (I don’t believe these are actual syndromes but I see them enough that they could be).

I love to incorporate DBT – Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Interpersonal Effectiveness DEARMAN skill. This has been so helpful in managing difficult conversations…with anyone.

  • Regulate & Control your Emotions

I love to teach how to regulate and take control of our emotions. I love teaching my clients meditation, mindfulness skills and breath work to increase their brain’s locus of control. When we are mindful or meditate on a consistent basis, we expand our frontal lobe - the house of our rational thinking & decision making. With dedication and practice, we are able to control our thoughts, emotions, behaviors – and there are multiple forms of this that I suggest/offer.

  • Most importantly, Love Yourself

Love the body you are in, the wonderful mind you have. This is our one shot – the one life we get to live, we might as well enjoy the hell out of it. Within loving yourself, I also love to work with clients on letting go. Letting go of material vices, scarcity mindset, mood altering substances - anything that is keeping you in a state of lack, confusion, fear, anxiety, desperation. Anything that keeps you from seeing who you are and who you need to become for the world.

I love coaching people who…

Are in this in-between – life is going okay but you know it could be so much better. You know you have so much potential and so much to offer the world but you don’t know where to start. You feel stuck in your head – in overthinking what to do or where to go next. You feel stuck in your emotions – paralyzed in anxiety, depression, fear or stress – unable to move forward due to the overwhelm of any or all of those emotions.

You have consistently not been able to achieve your goals. You’ve set goal after goal but for some reason, you haven’t been able to achieve it. You try over and over again to lose the weight, to stop using the substance, to meet new people, to go to the class, to go to the show, to start writing the book, to travel more. But you can’t find the time, you can’t find the space, you can’t find the people, you can’t, you can’t, you can’t.

I’ve got news for you…you can, and you will.

I love you, I love working with you – there is hope.

You have a history of trauma or grief. You have a history of subconscious programming (habits & patterns) that are keeping you from achieving your goals. You have tried to move past these events but you haven’t been able to. I love where you’re at. I can support you and teach you how to let go, how to forgive, how to release what needs to be released. How to talk to your inner child and communicate with him or her to find peace, to find freedom within yourself.

I want you to achieve…

True love & joy within yourself and within the world around you.

Control over your life – over your subconscious programming, your thoughts, feelings & behaviors.

Confidence & trust in what you say and the decisions you make.

Deeply know who you are and what you want to do on this earth – what you were meant to do.

Show up, stand in your power, live your truth. All of it. I want you to have all of it.

My strengths as a coach…

My background is social work & therapy; I am a natural therapist - a natural listener, a natural problem solver, a natural helper of humanity. I am able to provide an open and non-judgmental space that is conducive to transformation, growth and change. I don't know how this works exactly, but I do believe this is who I am and what I was put on this earth to do.

I have been told more times than I can count, "I have never told anyone this before, but..."

I believe this reiterates my strength of openness and showing up with where people are at. Whether they are the queen of England or a homeless person on the side of the street. I treat everyone I work with the same. One of my coaches said it the best...

The way you do one thing is the way you do everything.

I will provide the same openness, the same non-judgmental nature that I provide with every person I work with, with every person I talk to, with every person I come in to contact with.

Another strength is being able to tell my clients what they aren't aware of in a kind and constructive way. I am able to look into what they are saying, the words they are using, and pull out different subconscious processes and identities that they have been clinging on to. This is most likely due to the 6 years working in substance abuse where you have to weed through the bull shit. It's life or death. I believe it's same for those who choose to work with me. It's your life - it's life or death. It's expansion or mediocrity. It's deciding or staying stuck. It's releasing and letting go or pain and suffering.

One thing that is very important to me is my self care - how I take care of myself. I give and want to give to others all of the time. I want to change attitudes and emotions just by talking to strangers that I come in to contact with every day. To do that, I have to put myself first, to take care of myself above everything else. I want to be at such a high vibration that I can change other's vibrations around me. I am a leader and I know the importance in self care, to change my own personal reality and the world around me.

And remember...
